“ Table service old school diner style Mexican restaurant with ample parking. Restaurant and restrooms were fairly clean, they could use a little attention but this was after the breakfast rush so it might not be typical. Service was very pleasant and helpful but a little slow. Food was very good. Portions are huge, two breakfast burritos are almost impossible to finish even though they were excellent. Recommend for a no frills great meal. ”
“ Excellent food.. drove down from Rio Rancho for the day. Had the chicken enchilada casserole and the green and red was excellent!! Well worth the trip !! Will definitely go again when we're down that way ! ”
“ Large sized burritos for HALF the expected price. Got 3 for 8 each. Really good and loaded. Also came out very quick! Definitely recommend ”
“ Came in for breakfast and had the two smothered breakfast burritos with sausage and had green chilies on it and a cup of coffee. Food was very good. Especially for my first breakfast in Socorro. The plate was HUGE with a ton of food. The burritos had a ton of flavor and this batch of green chilies had some great flavor and not too spicy. Service was 5 as well. Atmosphere was a typical Southwestern theme. There is a really nice memorial to Sophia. ”
“ I think this might be take-out only now, which is a shame, because it would be nice to sit down. The food was amazing! Best menudo since my mother-in-law's! The tripe was so tender! But be warned it is spicy! Delicious! ”
“ Great staff and service. Stop by twice coming from Albuquerque and will stop again. My coffee never hit bottom and the server always came with a smile. Huevos rancheros and burritos are excellent. My brother and husband say the steak and eggs are well worth the stop. Be sure to stop by and say hello. ”
“ First time eating here at Sophia's. Today, I ate the menu menudo. The tripe was tender and delicious my father inlaw highly recommended that I have tried it. He ate the chicharon plate. The kiddos had tenders & a cheeseburger ”
“ Got a breakfast burrito and huevos rancheros. The root beer was delicious. Food was decent. Chile isn’t extremely spicy. Just enough with good flavor. Red was best. ”
